Unanswered phones
After-hours calls, lunch hour gaps and busy mornings send callers to the next weight loss clinic. A voicemail with a text-back or an answering service can help.

Get results in days, not monthsResults in days, not monthsIn this field, a lead is not a name on a list. It is a person who may give you months of visits, lab work and trust, or a person who disappears after one call. Getting more of the first kind takes work in three places: where inquiries come from, how fast and how well your team answers, and how you track what happens next. We help weight loss clinics build owned sources of inquiries, such as search, Maps and a website that converts. We do not sell leads, and we do not run lead-resale schemes.
A good lead
A good lead is someone in or near your service area who understands that this is a medical program with a monthly rhythm and a cost, who is old enough and appropriate for your services, and who wants an evaluation. They may not be ready to commit, but they are willing to come in and talk. A weak lead might be looking for a free sample, a supplement, a quick fix or a service you do not provide. Another weak lead is someone outside the states where your providers are licensed. A third is someone looking for a job.
Your marketing can filter before the call. Plain descriptions of how the program works and how pricing is structured discourage people who would be unhappy, and attract those who would not. That is why we favor honest pages over clever hooks. A slightly smaller number of inquiries that arrive prepared usually enrolls better than a flood of curious people.
Where leads come from
| Source | Who you meet | You keep it? | Watch for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Maps and listing | People searching nearby, often ready to call | Yes, it builds over time | Reviews, accuracy, category choice |
| Organic search pages | Researchers comparing weight loss clinics and programs | Yes, mostly | Slow start, needs steady work |
| Search ads | Intent-driven visitors ready to book | No, stops when spend stops | Policy disapprovals and slow follow-up |
| Social ads | Earlier-stage people becoming familiar | No | Strict weight-claim limits |
| Referrals from other professionals | Patients with a medical reason | Yes | Time to build relationships |
| Patient referrals and reviews | Friends and family of current patients | Yes | Consent and incentive rules |
| Purchased lead lists or lead marketplaces | Unknown people who may have submitted forms to many clinics | No | Shared leads, low intent, privacy and consent questions |
We do not sell leads and we do not resell them. Everything we build sends inquiries to your own phone number and your own forms.
Speed to answer
A form submission triggers a short confirmation by text or email that says what happens next, without health details.
A real person calls or texts, ideally within the first business hour. Missed calls get a voicemail and a callback attempt.
Many people do not pick up on the first attempt. A second call or message later the same day or the next morning recovers a surprising number of consults.
Offer two or three specific appointment times rather than an open question, and explain what to expect.
A confirmation and a reminder with directions, what to bring and how to reschedule reduce no-shows.
Tracking
You should be able to answer, for any month, how many inquiries each channel produced, how many became booked evaluations, how many showed up and how many enrolled. That needs call tracking, form source fields and a consistent way of noting outcomes in your scheduling or practice system. It does not require passing anyone's weight, condition or medication to an ad platform, and it should not.
We use generic conversion events such as "call" and "consult request," keep page names neutral and ask new patients how they heard about you at intake. Whether HIPAA or other privacy rules apply to particular tools depends on your weight loss clinic, so have your attorney review your scheduler, form builder, call recording and analytics setup. A short monthly review of the funnel from inquiry to enrollment tells you where to put the next dollar and where a leak lives.
Common leaks
Lost at the door
After-hours calls, lunch hour gaps and busy mornings send callers to the next weight loss clinic. A voicemail with a text-back or an answering service can help.
Interest cools fast
A reply two days later is often too late. Set an internal response goal and watch it.
Scaring people off
A fifteen-field form on the first page is a barrier. Collect basics first and the rest after booking.
The silent objection
People who cannot tell what a program costs often never ask. Explain the structure on the site.
The enrollment gap
A friendly check-in a few days after an evaluation brings back people who needed time.
No-shows
Texts and emails with clear details cut missed appointments.
Telehealth era
| Their strength | Your counter | Where to say it |
|---|---|---|
| Convenience and quick signup | Offer virtual follow-ups and easy scheduling, and be honest about the in-person value of labs and exams | Program page and ads |
| Large advertising budgets | Win on Maps, local pages, reviews and referral relationships | Google profile and site |
| Subscription pricing | Explain your membership structure and what a team provides beyond a prescription | Pricing page |
| A polished brand | Real providers, real photos and a visible local address | Provider pages and listing |
Intake and screening
A weight loss clinic needs to know a few things early: whether the person is within the area you serve, whether they are an adult, whether they want an evaluation and how they expect to pay. That conversation should feel like a welcome, not an interrogation. A short, friendly call script, written with your clinical lead, gets the facts without collecting medical details. Medical history belongs in the secure intake after the appointment is booked.
Screening also protects your providers' time. Someone who wants a particular medication and nothing else may not be a fit, and it is kinder to say so early than to waste an hour. A calm explanation that the first visit is a medical evaluation, and that the provider decides what is appropriate, sets honest expectations and sends the wrong people elsewhere with no hard feelings.
Inquiry types
| Inquiry | What they usually want | Helpful response |
|---|---|---|
| Price shopper | A number before anything else | Explain the membership structure and what the evaluation covers, then invite them to book |
| Medication asker | A particular prescription | Explain the evaluation first and that providers decide what is appropriate |
| Referred patient | A smooth handoff from another doctor | Confirm the referral process and any records needed |
| Insurance checker | To know what is covered | State what you bill and what you do not, and suggest checking their plan |
| Out-of-area caller | Convenience from far away | Explain visit expectations and any licensing limits on virtual care |
| Past patient | Rebooking or a restart | Welcome them back and offer the next available follow-up |
Plans
Capacity
More leads are not always better. A weight loss clinic with two providers and a waiting list of three weeks should not be pushing for more inquiries. The people who contact you will call a competitor, or give up, and your reviews can suffer if they feel ignored. Before scaling any channel, review how long a new evaluation currently takes to schedule, how soon follow-up visits can be booked and whether coaching and lab review keep pace.
When capacity is tight, the better moves are on the retention side: reducing missed appointments, bringing back lapsed patients and building a referral habit among happy ones. When capacity opens, for example after a new provider joins, you can widen the funnel with more ad budget or a push on local pages. We design plans to flex in both directions, and we would rather tell you to pause than spend your money on people you cannot serve well.
Review capacity every month. It changes with vacations, staffing and seasons, and the marketing plan should change with it.
Lead questions
The answer follows the channels you choose. RankGuarantee™ pages cost $495 a month, managed advertising begins at $895 a month on one platform, and Organic Growth begins at $1,495 a month. Platform ad spend is billed separately, and no contract or setup fee applies.
No. Selling, buying or reselling leads is not something we do. Every inquiry arrives through a channel you control, such as your site, listing or tracked phone line, and goes straight to your team.
Be cautious. Shared leads can arrive from people who contacted several weight loss clinics, and their consent and privacy practices may be unclear. If you test one, track it separately and judge it by enrolled patients.
As fast as you reasonably can, ideally within the first business hour and certainly the same day. A second attempt helps. Speed is often the cheapest improvement available.
Ask during the first call or on the scheduling confirmation, in a neutral way. Do not ask for detailed health information. Your policy and any tools should be reviewed by counsel.
It can, and that causes damage. We plan around your real capacity, and we can slow or pause campaigns when the schedule is full.
